This position is a year-round security role, primarily working building security. Job Description

Responsible for conducting daily tours of SunTrust Park. Includes regularly scheduled walk-up tours, school group tours, corporate, non-profit and other groups; and pre-game VIP tours. This is a year-round position with tours being offered seven days a week during the season and six days during the offseason. Job Description

Grounds Crew members are responsible for maintaining a safe, aesthetically pleasing playing surface that adheres to MLB specifications and is suited for the highest level of competition. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the field and practice areas for workouts, batting practice, home games, and various on-field special events at SunTrust Park. Crew members should expect to react quickly in adverse weather situations and tarp the field when necessary. While gameday staff typically work 6-8 hours for Atlanta Braves home games, hours may vary due to weather delays, duration of games, and/or special events. Security

Job Description

Responsible for enforcing all rules, regulations, policies and ordinances of SunTrust Park, City of Atlanta, and the State of Georgia. These positions include roving security officers, access control officers and fixed positioned officers. Reporting time is a minimum of 2½ hours prior to game time. The Plaza opens 1 hr. early, so some staff members will report a minimum 3½ hours prior to start of game. Security remains at most 1 hour after the game.

Qualifications

One year of security (Military Service, Reputable Security agencies, etc.) or managerial experience is required. P.0.S.T. Certification is a plus. Successful background check required. Must have excellent writing skills (will be asked to write a paragraph explaining why you want the job and your qualifications for this position), must be able to stand for extended periods of time, must be able to navigate ramps & stairs, work game delays and extra innings if needed, must be able to operate a hand-held metal detector, must possess safety awareness, excellent customer service skills and excellent communication skills.

Ticket Operations

Job Description

Assists in the day to day Ticket Operations Department for the Atlanta Braves and SunTrust Park, with emphasis on ticket order fulfillment and distribution.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

  • Assist in managing the rapid and accurate completion of printing / mailing online package tickets, Student Achiever, Kids Club, and accessible ticket orders.
  • Serve as liaison between Client Services department and Ticket Office with ticketing issues that may arise from incomplete information on mailed in orders.
  • Respond to telephone and e-mail requests regarding tickets from all staff in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with verifying ticket orders as well as filing orders when completed and logging Will-Call drop offs.
  • Process and ship mail orders using UPS machine.
  • Serve as Ticket Seller/Will Call attendant during games when needed.
  • Contribute as a team member to the overall success of the Atlanta Braves Ticket Operations Department.

Job Description

This role is an extension of our sales and service team helping our A List and Club Members during games by aiding with service needs and assisting with any ticket issues.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Create relationships with Braves A-List Members (Season Ticket Holders)
  • Practicing knowledge of ballpark policies to ensure the safety of all guests and employees.
  • Provide high level of customer service.
  • Problem solve in a timely and professional manner.
  • Demonstrate ability to proactively resolve service issues and anticipate the needs of our members.
  • Exceed service expectations of all clients.
  • Ability to be flexible and work numerous positions throughout a home stand.
  • Ability to learn ticketing software and policies.
  • Seasonal position with hourly pay rate of $9 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work the majority of Braves home games.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (6+ hours), including climbing up/down staircases.
  • Must be able to report to work 2 ½ hours before each game and stay up to an hour after each game.
  • Must have excellent speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented person who can manage multiple tasks.
  • Team player who demonstrates a consistent positive attitude.
  • Archtics and CRM experience a plus.
  • Successfully complete a criminal and credit background check.
